(NYSE:OB) Implements SubLedger Plus for Claims Accounting Cycle BlackIron FInancial Systems, LLC announces the implementation of SubLedger Plus Version 3.0 to manage the flow and control of OneBeacon Insurance Group's accounting for claims payments and salvage/subrogation recoveries. OneBeacon has significantly improved efficiencies in its accounting operations and enhanced financial controls by implementing SubLedger Plus. OneBeacon has implemented SubLedger Plus for automated daily journal entry creation, daily bank balance and check fraud avoidance reconciliations, and daily reconciliation of general ledger claims liability accounts to claims systems and loss reporting systems. OneBeacon has also implemented the SubLedger Plus Check Management Module to manage the status of all disbursements and implemented SubLedger Plus Reporting and Alert Services to distribute weekly reports to its field offices. (NYSE:OB) Migrates to SubLedger Plus Version 3.0 for Insurance Receivables and Commissions Accounting Cycles BlackIron FInancial Systems, LLC announces that OneBeacon Insurance Group has migrated to Version 3.0 for its insurance receivables and commission accounting cycles. OneBeacon Insurance Group uses SubLedger Plus for automated daily journal entries, automated daily bank reconciliations, and automated daily policy level balancing of its general ledger to its billing systems and commissions system. July 2007 BlackIron Announces Release Version 3.0 of SubLedger Plus BlackIron Financial Systems, LLC announces the release of Version 3.0 SubLedger Plus further extending BlackIron's business support capabilities. The advanced features of Version 3.0 provide SubLedger Plus customers the advantages of faster general ledger closes, tighter financial controls and better financial information. Version 3.0 is built on the Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0 and includes several new features including enhanced query building and reporting features and integrated automated workflow. |
